I started in fathers stone mason workshop with vocational school for stone carving in Ljubljana. After that I finished construction school wit secondary school diploma. I continued too educate on Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana as a sculptor and finished it in 2006.
At the same time I finished courses for restoration and conservation cultural heritage in Ljubljana.

At age of 17 I started to work full time in fathers work shop as a stone cutter. Father’s busyness was mostly carving and installing tombstones on cemetery.
At the age of 22 (2000) I started to work in Center for protection of cultural heritage in Ljubljana Slovenia as a stone mason and sculptor. My work at first was carving stone details and replacements for gothic arches, vaults and windows. My work in restoration also included finishing copies of sculptures from stone, casting sculptures in different materials. Creating copies of sculptures and dismantling and installing on sculptures.
All those years included restoration and conservation of protected architectural details such as stairways, facade elements and interior and exterior decoration from stone, wood, plaster or other materials (also fresco and wall paintings). Many of the work are made onsite. For the last 10 years I’m working on projects independently with assistants or in a crew with other experts.
since I worked as contractor in government institution I could not get full time job so I opened freelance busyness in 2008 and I’ve been working like this since than.

Economic crises has reduced amount of available projects in country and is forcing younger operators to look for alternative options. I’m used to operate abroad and I speak English fluidly.
