Summary
My name is Anna and I am an american graphic designer living in Paris. I am originally from Oklahoma, but I went to school in New York at School of Visual Arts. There I received a bachelors degree in graphic design. While studying in New York I was a graphic design intern at Live Nation New York. At Live Nation, I worked on making band art for smaller bands, event flyers, and promotional material for their smaller venues, Gramercy Theatre and Irving Plaza. I also was a design intern for REBE Design, an event production design company in New Orleans. While at REBE I worked under Stefan Beese on pre production for Voodoo Fest, a Fuze installation at Bonnaroo and pre production to on site set up for H2O Music Festival in LA. My responsibilities included taking CAD files into photoshop to complete stage, festival site, etc. mockups, creating print material for festivals, and finding installation artists for festivals. After school I moved to Paris and interned for The European Independent Film Festival. While working for ECU Film Festival my responsibilities include being in charge of creating and executing all printed graphic material for the the festival, social media promotions, website management, and creating web banners/promo material. I am an experienced user in Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, and am a beginner in After Effects and Sketch. I have also been working as a freelance designer for the last 3 years. All of my internship and freelance work has taught me to meet fast deadlines, thoroughly communicate from the beginning of projects, work with a team, and critical thinking skills in order to come up with new and innovative ideas.
