Radical collaborations are stimulated through an online platform, conferences, events, and an annual international design competition on themes such as social justice and climate change.
WDCD has successfully hosted 14 international design conferences in Amsterdam, São Paulo and México City. Furthermore, it has run three worldwide challenges on Climate Action, Clean Energy and the Integration of Refugees.
In January 2021, WDCD will launch its fourth challenge, namely the No Waste Challenge.
